SAILING

A couple of Sundays ago, Ryan's Uncle Gary took us sailing on The Great Salt Lake.
He actually lives on his boat in the marina, that is his home.
It was really cool and perfect weather. He let us help put up the sails and steer the boat. The boys thought it was so fun.
I did not actaully take any pictures while we were on the boat because you basically sit on the roof of the boat and he warned us that anything you bring up there will probably fall off.

Memorial Weekend

Memorial Weekend- The Spruces campground
Me and Ryan and our boys, Chris and Marley and Ryans brother Brennan went up Big Cottonwood Canyon Memorial Weekend for our first camping trip of the year. We had a good time but ended up leaving a day early because of rain.
We were suprised when we arrived and there was a huge snow block about the size of a car on our campsite, but that didnt stop us.

Chris, Marley and Colton chillin by the fire.
It wasn't as cold as it looks I thought it actually felt really nice.

Of course we forgot our axe, so we had to use a shovel to cut our wood. :)

Chris' turn

Venturing out into the wilderness

You can do it Marley!

Colton thought it was so cool he had to walk across logs and jump across streams, he had so much fun!

Chris and Marleys tent
It was ridiculously huge, and high tech. When it started raining in the middle of the night our tent was leaking and dripping on my face, I called Chris to see if there tent was doing the same and theirs was still dry so we all moved over to their tent and fit fine and still had room for possible two more people. Good pick of a tent dad! It even had like a little vent/opening in the back that said in case you wanted to reach out of it in the middle of the night and grab a drink or something out of the cooler. I dont think I have ever seen such a cool tent!

Woops Ryan you got smore on your face.

And this is how our camping trip ended, at my house with treats and sleeping bags and games.
We tried to stick it out but everything was getting soaked, we couldnt start a fire, our food was all wet and chairs and I dont think the kids could handle sitting in the tent all day.

We had a good time!!

Night Night

Happy Birthday Ash!!

It was Ashleys big 30 birthday May 21st so we decided to take her to GOOD THINGS UTAH.
It was a blast, we had so much fun and they announced her birthday at the end of the show. The funniest part was coming home and watching yourself on TV not knowing if you should look at the camera or watch yourslef on the TV monitor or where to look, we are big geeks.
HAPPY BIRTHDAY ASH!

The hosts we way nice and talked to us and let us take pictures with them.
After sitting and watching the show on the most comfortable bleachers :)

Waiting to get into the show

Sitting in the car beforehand because we arrived about half an hour before anyone else.
